It's been a red hot June for the Florida Gators when it comes to recruiting, and it keeps getting better.
Head coach Billy Napier entered the month of June with just two recruits committed to the Gators in the 2026 class. So far, the Gators have landed seven recruits in the pivotal month of June, including two so far over the weekend.
Saturday morning landed a third commitment over the weekend, and it's one that the Gators have been looking for in four-star defensive lineman JaReylan McCoy.

This is a big commitment for the Florida Gators for many reasons. One, McCoy has been on their radar for a long time. The one time LSU Tigers commit is a tremendous prospect with elite size and length for an edge rusher at 6'7 and 245 lbs with long arms.
McCoy has been a major focus on the defensive side of the football, and it's easy to see why. McCoy is a four-star recruit per the On3 Sports Industry Ranking as the 163rd-ranked overall recruit and 17th defensive lineman, and is a top 10 recruit and five-star per ESPN.
This has been a huge month for the Gators in recruiting. In fact, they haven't just been great at landing top commits; they have done so in such a big way that they have vaulted not just into the top 25 of On3 Sports' recruiting rankings, but they are all the way up to 13th.

The Gators are one of the hottest teams in the nation on the recruiting trail right now and it's likely going to get better. Napier and the Gators have landed three commits over the weekend, and that list could end up growing over the next week.
