The Florida State Seminoles are in desperate need of a change. And, one could even say that head coach Mike Norvell is in danger of losing his job if that change doesn't happen.
They had the undefeated season a few years ago, where they really should have made the College Football Playoffs, and had they had a healthy Jordan Travis, they could have made some serious noise, and then last year happened. The Seminoles were maybe the worst Power Four team in football.
So far, though, that season hasn't hurt the Seminoles that badly in recruiting. And, luckily for them, that will be the way they get back to, or near, the top. If they can string together some good players through recruiting and put together some really good classes, the Noles could be back at the top of the ACC in no time.
Luckily for them, they have been making waves in recruiting, specifically at the WR position.

Brandon Bennett is a four-star wide receiver from the class of 2026, playing at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida, and is a top prospect in his class, ranked No. 7 among Florida wide receivers and No. 218 nationally by On3.
Bennett has received 17 offers from prominent programs, including Florida State, Georgia, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Louisville, Oklahoma, Auburn, and Colorado. He has narrowed it down to Florida State, Georgia, and Florida, with official visits scheduled for Georgia, Florida State, and Florida, in that order, with the FSU visit set for June 6.
The WR is around 6'1", with good size and length, and it has been said that he likes Florida State’s potential in having a fast-paced offense under coach Gus Malzahn and their track record of sending players to the NFL. He also has ties to FSU through assistant coaches Tim Harris Jr. and Patrick Surtain, who coached at his high school.
These visits that he is set to go on could be game-changers in deciding where he wants to commit to. These are three schools that are somewhat close to him, with Georgia being the furthest away, but still pretty close, all things considered. If FSU could nail their visit and really prove to him that they need him and value him, he could sign with the Noles.
But in this day and age of recruiting, nothing is guaranteed. NIL could play a huge factor in getting Bennett, as Florida and Georgia could offer him much more money.
