Florida State Seminoles have done the unthinkable just three games into the 2025 season which truly shows how improved they are

The Florida State Seminoles have the No. 1 run offense in the country based on all of the numbers.

They have the most rushing touchdowns in the entire country, are third in rush yards per carry at 7.1, which is insane by the way, are fourth in the country in rushing yards with 1,089, fifth in tackles avoided with 45, and third in runs of 20+ yards with 37 of them. And, that's ten more total rushing yards than what the Seminoles had all of last season.

That is some of the biggest proof possible that Mike Norvell has completely turned this team back around from the two-win squad they were just last year.

Seminoles can carry the run game over to conference play

There are some doubters out there who believe that the Seminoles will not be able to carry any of this offense or defense over to conference play and have this type of output consistently. However, that couldn't be further from the truth.

First, I know, two of the games the Noles played were not great teams at all. In fact, they were terrible teams. But, the point of this is that they're very different than last year – they played similar teams last year and did not have this kind of success. But, they did beat the Alabama Crimson Tide by running the ball.

The ACC isn't just loaded this year. In fact, Miami looks to be the only serious threat to the Seminoles' chances at a playoff appearance. They are good, really good, but they're the only true threat left on the Noles' schedule. But this is conference play we are talking about, so anything can happen. Let's keep that in mind.

Because the talent in the ACC isn't great, this style of play for the Noles should carry over to conference play. Not to mention, the Seminoles are using so many different guys to run the ball. We are through three games, and five players have over 100 rush yards on the season, eight have over 50 rush yards, and 15 guys have rushed the ball.

So, they're still fresh. It's not like this will wear down. This is what FSU is, and man, they are fun to watch.
