Week 7 of the 2025 college football season features the return of the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry between Auburn and Georgia, with the 10th-ranked Bulldogs traveling to The Plains for a primetime SEC showdown on ABC.

Georgia (4-1, 2-1 SEC) opened as a 3.5-point road favorite over the unranked Tigers (3-2, 0-2 SEC) with an over-under point spread of 46.5 points, according to BetMGM’s Sportsbook.

The Bulldogs responded nicely to its first loss of the season last Saturday against Alabama by rolling over Kentucky 35-14 on Saturday in Athens. Meanwhile, the Tigers are coming off its first bye of the season and can’t seem to catch a break to open SEC play. After dropping its first two conference games on the road at No. 11 Oklahoma (24-17) and No. 9 Texas A&M (16-10), Auburn now faces a motivated Georgia squad on Saturday before a fourth-consecutive Top 25 game against Missouri next week.

How to watch Alabama at Missouri

Time: Oct. 11, 7:30 pm ET
Channel: ABC
Location: Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn, Ala.

Dating back to 1892, the Auburn-Georgia rivalry game has been played every year since 1944, with the Bulldogs holding a 65-56-8 all-time advantage ahead of the 130th meeting in the series.

Georgia has certainly dominated the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry series of late, winning the last eight straight — including the 2017 SEC championship game — and 17 of the last 20 dating back to 2006. Should the Bulldogs win again Saturday, it would tie the series record for the longest win streak at nine games which Georgia set between 1923-31. That said, each of Auburn’s last three wins in the series have come at home on The Plains.
