Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs will soon know their fate with five-star running back Savion Hiter.
According to On3's Hayes Fawcett, Hiter officially announced his commitment date for Tuesday, August 19th.
"NEWS: Five-Star RB Savion Hiter will announce his Commitment August 19th, he tells me for @rivals. The No. 1 RB in the ‘26 Class will choose between Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia, & Tennessee," Fawcett wrote.

Hiter, a standout from Louisa County High School in Mineral, Virginia, is a key focus for Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class.
At five-foot-11 and 200 pounds, Hiter is ranked the No. 1 overall prospect at his position and in the state of Virginia. He is also the No. 21 overall prospect in the class of 2026.
Hiter finished his 2024 junior season rushing for 1,060 yards on 150 carries, averaging 117 yards per game.
Georgia will have to beat out Michigan, Tennessee and Ohio State to seal the deal with Hiter.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class and has 30 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
