Kirby Smart and his Georgia Bulldogs staff are never done recruiting, even if one of their player prospects has already pledged to another school.
According to Rivals' Chad Simmons, Smart is still in pursuit of four-star offensive tackle Tyler Chukuyem, who committed to the Florida Gators on June 16.

The hope is that by continuing to push, Georgia can get Chukuyem to flip his decision. And they could be halfway there since they have plans for him to visit in Athens this fall.
"The only school trying to get me to flip is Georgia, and I plan on going for a game; that will be my official visit," Chukuyem told Rivals. "It is an in-state school, and I know a lot of people who like Georgia, so it is a school I will take a look at."
Chukuyem, a 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive tackle from Douglasville, GA, ranks as the No. 24 offensive tackle in the 2026 class according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. He also ranks No. 285 nationally and is No. 35 in the Peach State.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class and has 31 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
