Georgia football's RB room takes another brutal hit ahead of Tennessee game

To say the Georgia Bulldogs' running back room is banged up is an understatement.

The team has been without Branson Robinson (MCL) and Roderick Robinson (toe) for most of the season and then lead rusher Trevor Etienne (ribs) was injured against the Florida Gators, which kept him limited versus Ole Miss.

And now, Cash Jones is dealing with an injury after he was spotted wearing a walking boot after the Bulldogs' loss to Mississippi.

When asked more about Jones' alleged 'ankle' injury on the SEC conference call leading up to this week's matchup against the Tennessee Volunteers, Smart would not comment.

“We’ll find out when the injury report comes out," Smart said.

The injury report dropped Wednesday night and Jones, along with Etienne, were listed as questionable.

That leaves true freshman Nate Frazier as the only healthy running back who has consistently been a part of the rotation this year.

Frazier is second on the team after rushing 72 times for 333 yards and three touchdowns so far.

While leaning on Frazier is not ideal, Georgia has options. They've used wide receiver Dillon Bell on some carries, but they may look further down the depth chart to freshmen backs Dwight Phillips Jr. and Chauncey Bowens.
