High Profile Running Back Commit Sends Powerful Bryce Underwood Warning to Wolverines' 2025 Opponents

Michigan football's 2025 recruiting class has undergone several changes recently, culminating in the pledge of the nation's number one quarterback Bryce Underwood.

Underwood, a native of Belleville, Michigan, is garnering attention as the Wolverines' potential 2025 starting quarterback considering his team's wide open depth chart.

On Friday, another Class of 2025 recruit, running back commit Jasper Parker, sent a grave warning to the Wolverines' opponents over Underwood's mindset and talent heading into next season.

"That guy Bryce is the real deal, and um, I know he's coming to take heads off his first year," Parker said in a video posted to X.

"I'm excited to have him, I think this dude's going to be a top two draft pick, and I don't think he's going to be two in the future, so it's just great being able to go play alongside him," Parker added.

Parker is a 6-foot tall, 189 pound running back from Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana. He held offers from Alabama, Auburn, Duke, Penn State, Oregon and other schools before deciding on the Wolverines as his first college choice.

Parker was also offered by the USC Trojans, Tennessee Volunteers, Tulane Green Wave, SMU Mustangs and other well known schools.
