Injury Report: Six Players OUT For USC Trojans Against Missouri State, Including One Surprise
Lucas Peltier-Imagn Images

The USC Trojans will be without six players in today’s matchup against Missouri State. When we spoke with head coach Lincoln Riley on Friday, we knew that both freshman standouts Jahkeem Stewart and Alex Graham would not play in today’s contest.

Transfer cornerback Chasen Johnson was going to be a game-time decision, but he has now been ruled out.

Kicker transfer Caden Chittenden is also out as he has been nursing an injury for most of camp. Ryon Sayeri will be handling the kicking duties for today’s game.

Cornerback Prophet Brown was injured earlier in camp and is going to miss a significant amount of time. Coach Riley was hopeful that he would return at some point this season, but it could be a good bulk of the season before that happens.

The one surprise is linebacker Anthony Beavers Jr. There was really no word of him getting injured in practice this week, so it must have happened late in the week or is due to something else.

The USC Trojans just released a video yesterday of Beavers Jr. paying a visit to his childhood football team in the Snoop Football League, providing tickets to the kids and their families to attend the game. It is very unfortunate that he will not be able to play in this one.
