The Heisman race has shifted every week as we reach the season's final stretch, and Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe has made his way back into the conversation after Saturday's win over LSU. Milroe finished the 42-13 win with 185 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a dominant showing on the ground.

According to the latest odds via FanDuel Sportsbook, Milroe ranks sixth in the Heisman picture at +1800 odds. That places him fourth among FBS quarterbacks behind Oregon's Dillon Gabriel, Miami's Cameron Ward, and Indiana's Kurtis Rourke.

Milroe now has over 2,000 passing yards, over 500 rushing yards, and 29 total touchdowns this season. He's arguably the best dual-threat quarterback in the country, and first-year head coach Kalen DeBoer and offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan have pressed the right buttons to maximize his production.

It was great to see Milroe get back on track after a rocky stretch before the team's bye week, and the Crimson Tide will need him firing on all cylinders to accomplish its postseason goals. Alabama ranked 10th in the most recent College Football Playoff rankings and has a great chance to reach the SEC conference championship game despite the conference being loaded at the top.
