2026 NFL Draft: Jeremiyah Love Scouting Report

Jeremiyah Love enters the 2026 NFL Draft as one of the top prospects available. He had a productive college career with the Fighting Irish and played extremely well over three seasons. While in South Bend in his final campaign, Love was a Heisman Finalist and Doak Walker Award Winner as the top running back in the nation en route to an Unanimous All-American selection. He started in all 12 games at running back and broke the program record for total touchdowns in a season with 21 and led the team with 1,372 rushing yards on 199 carries (6.9 ypc).

Love is a strong yet elusive running back who excels in many ways. He’s a three-down back that can punish you with his physicality, yet also has the finesse to be a threat out of the backfield as a pass catcher, as his speed is impressive for a player his size. Rounding out his profile is the ability to extend drives for the offense, and he should fit into any system and be a true weapon for the team that selects him.

Bottom Line on Jeremiyah Love

The bottom line on Love is that he possesses many of the traits NFL teams covet in a top-tier RB. He is a fundamentally sound player who can take a struggling offense or one that is already potent to the next level. Love has proven to be a game-changer and seems to get better as the game goes on. His instincts are elite, and the ability to play every down will be a boon for his new team. Another feather in his cap is his ability to play every down, which provides tremendous value to the fortunate team that acquires his services. Look for Love to be an immediate impact player that could be in the Rookie of the Year race come the end of the season.
