Jersey Numbers for Seven of BYU's Newcomers

BYU kicks off Spring camp one week from today. Ahead of Spring camp, BYU assigned numbers for the 2024 season. Here are the jersey numbers for a handful of BYU's newcomers that were featured on BYU's social media.

Gerry Bohanon - QB #3

Former Baylor and USF quarterback Gerry Bohanon will wear the number 3 at BYU. Bohanon wore 11 at Baylor and USF.

Jack Kelly - LB #17

Weber State transfer Jack Kelly will wear 17 at BYU. Kelly is a projected starter for Jay Hill's defense.

Marque Collins - DB #4

Weber State transfer Marque Collins will wear number 4 for his final season of eligibility. That jersey was worn by Caleb Christensen last year.

Ephraim Asiata - LB #44

2024 signee Ephraim Asiata will wear number 44, his high school number.

Thomas Prassas - S #22

True freshman safety Thomas Prassas will wear number 22 for his true freshman season. Prassas is a dark horse candidate to crack the two-deep at safety.

John Taumoepeau - DL #95

Former Snow College John Taumoepeau committed to BYU as a walk-on a year ago. Tuamoepeau is now enrolled and ready to participate in Spring camp. Taumoepeau will wear the number 95, worn by Caden Haws in 2023.

Jovesa Damuni - RB #28

Jovesa Damuni is a running back from Ridgeline High School in Millville Utah and cousin of fellow BYU player Raider Damuni. Damuni is a versatile athlete that could play on both sides of the ball - BYU recruited him as a running back.
