A player that Big 12 fans are incredibly familiar with, Kansas State’s DJ Giddens is getting his shine on a national stage.
At the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, Giddens dominated drills and tests and ran a blazing fast 4.43 40-yard dash, which has NFL scouts in a frenzy over his upside.
Giddens finished second among all running backs in the broad jump at 10’10”, second in the vertical jump at 39’50”, and sixth in 40-yard dash at 4.43.
While Giddens’ incredible career at Kansas State proved his ability to tote the rock, many scouts feared that the Kansas native lacked significant top-end speed. Expected to finish in the 4.5 to 4.6 range, Giddens improved his draft stock heavily with his combine performance and many on social media are noticing.
DJ Giddens is a RB prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored an unofficial 9.89 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 22 out of 1909 RB from 1987 to 2025.

He probably belongs in Round 2 at this point.
Having the best day of any RB at the combine. https://t.co/tptknBWVLu
DJ Giddens is making himself money this week, phenomenal combine so far. Won't be shocked when he's gone in the top 50
