Alabama football’s running back, Jam Miller continues to make strides en route to returning to the football field after suffering an upper-body injury in fall camp.
Miller was previously slated to return to action against Georgia. Kalen DeBoer shared a return was possible versus Wisconsin during a media availability last week.
The Alabama head coach provided the latest update on Miller on Monday.
“We’ve got a number of guys that are day to day, and he would certainly be one of them,” DeBoer said. “We’re optimistic that there could be a chance. I really don’t think we’ll know until later in the week. You saw him in pregame. He was out there doing some things aggressively, trying to continue to push forward. You can see that with Jam. He’s chomping at the bit, and we just got to make sure we’re making a smart decision, but that will be left up to our training staff and our doctors, also how Jam feels, and he’s making a lot of progress.”
Miller was spotted warming up ahead of the Crimson Tide defeating Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday.
