The Big 12 Preseason Offensive Player of the Year didn't need to remind everyone how electric he is. With his incredible diamond chain at Big 12 Media Days, Kansas QB Jalon Daniels did so, anyway.

The @JalonDaniels6 highlight reel chain is incredible. It’s actually an Apple Watch with a 90-second video uploaded as the watch face. Genius move. pic.twitter.com/vCFooBScGC

TMZ got details about the custom-made jewelry, which cost $50,000 and is made with 18 carats of VS diamonds. Per designer Gambit, the digital display can hold up to four minutes of footage, so Daniels has plenty of space to add his 2023 highlights when the time comes.
He already has more than enough highlight plays. Daniels showed off his strong arm early last season against Duke and demonstrated his other elite abilities throughout the season.

Daniels was named preseason offensive player of the year by Big 12 media members last week. In nine games during the past campaign, Daniels went 152-of-230 (66.1 completion percent) for 2,014 yards, 18 touchdowns and four interceptions. He returned for the final three games of the season after suffering a shoulder injury before posting his best game of the season in the Liberty Bowl against Arkansas.
He gained 565 total yards and six touchdowns in the 55-53 triple overtime loss to the Cardinals, becoming the first player in FBS history to record at least 500 passing yards, five passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in a bowl game.

Kansas surpassed all expectations last season by going 6-7 and reaching a bowl game for the first time since 2008. ESPN's Football Power Index anticipates a down year for the Jayhawks, largely due to what it expects to be a subpar defense.
Regardless of how the season turns out for Kansas, one thing is sure. Whatever happens, Daniels will do it in style.
