On Monday, Chris Klieman and the Kansas State Wildcats added a new name to the Class of 2026 with the commitment of three-star offensive lineman Keegan Collins.
Collins, a 6-foot-6 tackle from Canyon, Texas, chose the ‘Cats over offers from 15 different programs, including Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, UCF, Arizona, and more.
First and foremost, I want to thank God, my Family and my Coaches for helping me along this journey of mine.

“First and foremost, I want to thank God, my family, and my coaches for helping me along this journey of mine,” Collins wrote on X. “I’m blessed to announce that I have committed to Kansas State. RECRUITMENT IS 100% SHUT DOWN!”
Coming out of West Plains High School in the Class of 2026, Collins is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 723rd-ranked player. He also checks in as the 56th-ranked player at his position and the 101st-ranked player in the state of Texas.
“Rising offensive tackle prospect who seemingly possesses a large frame and checks the multi-sport box with encouraging shot put and discus experience,” 247Sports’ Gabe Brooks wrote. “Naturally high center of gravity, but displays some natural bending ability and above average mobility in movement patterns, particularly when traveling in pulling/climbing situations. Junior season revealed the ability to stay in front of smaller edge speed in pass pro.”
“Sometimes more of a catcher than a puncher, but latter reps show more often in those pulling/climbing reps when striking a target on the move,” Brooks continued. “Posted a 48-foot, 5-inch shot put rep in Spring 2025. Concrete third-party-verified measurables will paint a more complete picture of the long-term potential, but from what we know right now, he appears to be an ascending O-line prospect with high-major upside. Very young for the 2026 cycle, which should further raise developmental potential as well.”
With his commitment, Collins became the Wildcats’ sixth addition to the Class of 2026, joining Tanner West, Dejon Ackerson, Lamarcus Barber, Brandon Ford, and Oliver Miller.
