Baylor has quietly been great.

It won five straight games, lost a painful thriller at Colorado, and got the bad break of dealing with Utah early in the season before the collapse.

It’s already bowl eligible, but win this, and there’s an outside shot it can finish tied for second in the Big 12 standings. No matter what, it’s been a good run under Dave Aranda.

Kansas is in a totally different situation. On a three-game winning streak to close out the regular season - including a walloping of Colorado and strong showings against Iowa State and BYU - win, and go to a bowl game.

Kansas vs Baylor: Who Will Win?

What’s Kansas doing that’s working so well? It’s not turning the ball over, the defense is holding up better than it did in the first half of the year, and the team is playing with plenty of confidence.

Baylor, though, has found a groove with its own attack. It’s keeping everything moving, and as long as it doesn’t make a ton of mistakes it’s scoring in bunches. Kansas will keep up, but the Bears will surge ahead the second half, and then the run will come.
