The third-ranked LSU Tigers are looking to win a national title with quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.

Nussmeier is in his fifth season in college football, having spent his entire collegiate career at LSU. He's playing in his second season as the Tigers' starter.

Heading into the 2025 college football season, Nussmeier was viewed as one of the top Heisman Trophy contenders, along with stars such as the Clemson Tigers' Cade Klubnik and the South Carolina Gamecocks' LaNorris Sellers.

As Nussmeier looks to lead LSU to a national title, the Tigers quarterback signed an exclusive name, image and likeness (NIL) deal with one of the biggest names in sports.

On Friday, Nussmeier announced that he has signed a new NIL deal with Nike.

"Bayou Built," posted Nike.

According to On3, Garrett Nussmeier has a $4 million NIL valuation.

The LSU Tigers quarterback also signed deals with the following brands before inking a deal with Nike: EA Sports, Powerade, Raising Cane's and Cheez-It.

Nussmeier is the No. 4 player in college football in terms of NIL valuations. The LSU quarterback is ranked behind Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning, Ohio State Buckeyes receiver Jeremiah Smith and Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck.

During his fifth season with the LSU Tigers, Garrett Nussmeier has posted two touchdowns and 469 yards with a 68.4 completion percentage and one interception.

LSU defeated the then-No. 4 Clemson Tigers in Week 1 and followed that with a win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

In Week 3, Nussmeier will look to lead LSU to another victory, set to play the Florida Gators. The game begins at 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday on ABC.
