Marlowe Wax Returning to Syracuse Football in 2024

Syracuse linebacker Marlowe Wax announced on social media Wednesday that he will return to the Orange for the 2024 season. 

“These past few weeks have been the most frustrating in my life,” Wax said in a social media post. “This past year did not go as planned and now, after careful consideration, I think it’s best for me to run it back one more time and double down on myself. I love what we are building and I can’t wait to rock the Dome with my brothers again.” 

The news comes after Justin Barron and Marlowe Wax announced their intentions to return as well. 

In 2023, Wax accumulated 108 tackles, four sacks, four forced fumbles, one interception and two passes defended.
