The Miami Hurricanes made a huge splash in the recruiting world last month when they landed the commitment of five-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell (Nixa, MO).  Now, Miami's top commit is helping his new coaching staff try to make the Canes' 2026 class even better.

Cantwell took an official visit to Coral Gables on June 6, and he was joined by IMG Academy OL Breck Kolojay.  The two seemed to hit it off, as they were photographed side-by-side in Hurricanes uniforms during the visit.  Kolojay later shouted out to Cantwell on Twitter/X with a picture of the two of them together in said uniforms.  Cantwell responded, "it just makes sense".

Kolojay is a four-star recruit in the 2026 class, and while not listed among the top 100 recruits in the composite industry rankings, he's someone who's gotten a lot of attention from top programs nationally, as he holds a long list of impressive offers.  That list includes, in addition to Miami, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas, Tennessee, LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, and many others.

Kolojay is being recruited by Miami offensive line coach Alex Mirabal, who has managed to help close the deal on some big-name offensive recruits in the last few years, including Francis Mauigoa, Samson Okulola, and now Cantwell. Given the success Mirabal and Mario Cristobal have had in developing lineman at the college level who's gone on to successful NFL careers - which is something Cantwell mentioned as a driving factor in picking the Canes - Miami should be squarely in play for Kolojay as the process goes on.

And it certainly can't hurt that one of the best players in the country would be lining up next to him.  After all, great players want to play with other great players, and Cantwell should be one for Miami.
