The top quarterback recruit in the 2027 recruiting class is set to visit some top college football programs this fall.
According to Sam Spiegelman , five-star quarterback Kavian Bryant, the top quarterback in the 2027 class per Rivals, has scheduled fall visits with the Florida State Seminoles, Texas Tech Red Raiders, and Texas Longhorns.
Bryant attends Westwood High School in Texas and is the sixth-best recruit in the state, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is also the No. 35 overall recruit in the nation for his class.
If the Longhorns have a big season in 2025, it could be enough to sway Bryant since he may want to join what Sarkisian has been building for the previous few seasons. Texas got a lot out of Quinn Ewers during his tenure and will try to get even more out of Arch Manning this season.
The Longhorns come into the 2025 college football season as the top-ranked team in the nation and will open the season against the Ohio State Buckeyes on August 30. It will come only months after the Buckeyes beat the Longhorns in the Cotton Bowl, 28-14.
That win sent the Buckeyes to the National Championship Game to play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, a game they won by 11, 34-23.
Kickoff for the Buckeyes-Longhorns game on August 30 will be at Noon ET.
