The Miami Hurricanes have been one of the busiest college football programs throughout the offseason, as they've put in a lot of effort into landing talented high-school recruits.
Their biggest addition is undoubtedly the class of 2026 offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell, who On3 Industry Rankings names a five-star recruit and the No. 1 player in the nation.
It's clear that Miami isn't planning on slowing down either because Izubee Charles of On3 reported on Friday that head coach Mario Cristobal has "caught the attention" of 2027 offensive tackle Mark Matthews.
Despite most of a program's recruiting roles falling on coaches and team personnel, Cantwell has made it his task to help out. He responded to the report with a social media post, saying, "@mark95matthews 'U' already know what to do."

Of course, considering he is a part of the 2027 recruiting class, Matthews still has a long time before he needs to make a commitment decision, but there's no doubt many teams want his services.
On3 has him as a five-star recruit, the No. 2 offensive tackle, the No. 1 player in Florida and the No. 5 player in the nation.
Miami is not the only team already making a push for him. He's received offers from top programs such as Notre Dame, Auburn, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, South Carolina and Florida.
If Matthews does take Cantwell's advice, he would be joining a Miami recruiting class that already features big names such as four-star cornerback Kenton Dopson and four-star wide receiver Ah'Mari Stevens.
