There have been 25 years of Nebraska football during the 2000s.

Although Nebraska has not won a conference title over this period, the Huskers have churned out a number of stellar players. This summer, with the help of Husker fans, we will select a an All-Quarter-Century Team.

As for eligibility, one of two requirements must be met: making an all-conference team (no honorable mentions) or being top 10 statistically for a season or career. For the career requirement to be met, the entire career must have been played after 1999.

With those requirements, there are 116 Huskers vying for 25 spots. The team will consist of one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, five offensive linemen, four defensive linemen, three linebackers, four defensive backs, one placekicker, one punter and one returner.
