Notre Dame's offense was two botched plays away from again putting 40 on the scoreboard Saturday, while its defense has allowed just 2.7 points per quarter dating back to the second half of the Purdue game.
Saturday stands to be another chance for Notre Dame to pick up a win, but also work on some of its own flaws before a big one against USC comes next weekend.
