Ohio State is set to host Michigan in The Horseshoe on Saturday afternoon.
The Buckeyes haven't beaten the Wolverines since 2019. Ohio State dominated the rivalry under Urban Meyer, going 7-0 against That Team Up North, but Jim Harbaugh turned the tables on "born on third base" Ryan Day, winning three straight from 2021-23. Michigan, of course, went undefeated in 2023, winning the national championship. The Wolverines have dropped back to Earth in 2024, though.
Ohio State enters Saturday's rivalry game as a 10-1 team, eyeing a spot in the national championship. The Buckeyes are huge favorites against Michigan - to the point where they've actually made history with the spread.
Ohio State enters Saturday's game against Michigan as a 23.5-point favorite. The Buckeyes were 10-point favorites over the Wolverines heading into the regular season, but both teams have gone in much different directions. Ohio State is a national title favorite, while Michigan is 6-5, fighting for a decent bowl game.
This is the biggest underdog Michigan has been in a modern college football game.
"This is the biggest underdog Michigan has ever been in any game going back to at least 1969, and we don't really have reliable databases before that so likely ever. Previous biggest underdog for Michigan was 17 to Ohio State in 1969 and 1996. Wolverines won both games, btw," Michigan Podcast shared.

If Michigan makes history against Ohio State with a win on Saturday, you would have to think that marks the end of the Ryan Day era in Columbus.
Kickoff between Ohio State and Michigan is scheduled for noon E.T.
The Week 14 game is airing on FOX.
