Emeka Egbuka has more to celebrate than draft buzz as the NFL’s big night approaches. A 6-foot-1, 205-pound senior, he finished 2024 as a team captain and third-team All-Big Ten pick after hauling in 81 receptions for 1,011 yards and 10 touchdowns.

He’s now among a dozen top prospects who have inked deals with Adidas ahead of the draft. The company announced Wednesday that Egbuka joined headliners Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter in signing on, stressing his status as a projected first-round talent.

Egbuka now joins a decorated adidas roster that includes Patrick Mahomes, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Garrett Wilson, cementing his place among football’s rising stars.

Egbuka’s polished route running and reliable hands have vaulted him into late-first-round consideration. In ESPN analyst Peter Schrager’s mock draft, the Broncos are pegged to use the No. 20 pick on the Buckeye.

Schrager noted, “Bar none, Egbuka is the most universally well-liked prospect in this draft. He is smart, reliable and sure-handed”.

"Coach Sean Payton and general manager George Paton hit a home run with Bo Nix a year ago. This could be another no-brainer." He added.

Fox Sports veteran Chase Daniel chimed in on social media, stating he’d be “over the moon” if Denver landed Egbuka. Early spring mocks frequently linked the Broncos to North Carolina running back Omarion Hampton, but as draft night nears, analysts are leaning towards either TreVeyon Henderson or Egbuka.
