Ole Miss Rebels coach Lane Kiffin has been at the center of coaching rumors over the last several weeks.
Major jobs like Florida, LSU, Auburn, Penn State and Arkansas have opened up and are looking for new coaches.
While Kiffin hasn't been the only coach brought up, almost all of the other names thrown out there have signed extensions.
Kiffin has consistently pushed off the idea of an extension during the season to limit distraction as his team nears a College Football Playoff berth.
On Monday, the Kiffin story continued with a photo surfacing of his family, and possibly himself, getting off a plane in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
LSU decided to fly members of Kiffin's family out to visit the city just one day after flying to Gainesville, Florida.
That is utterly bizzare that this happened," Finebaum said. "It's really bizarre that this happened, and usually these things happen after the season. Kiffin will likely not go to the SEC game. You could have done—the Egg Bowl is on Friday. You could have done this on a Saturday, Sunday. But the fact that he is literally shopping for another job while he is employed at Ole Miss is bewildering."
A decision from Kiffin is expected soon and is likely to come down to a return to Ole Miss or going to either LSU or Florida.
Kiffin has spent the last six seasons in Oxford, Mississippi, and has gone 53-19 over that time.
