We only have a few weeks left in the regular season for college football, which means award winners are starting to show themselves. Here I predicting the last of the awards of whom I think will take home some hardware, including the Heisman Trophy. Let’s finish off with a couple special team awards along with the Heisman.
There are a few kickers who have been perfect on the season, but the best one to me has been Hawaii’s Kansei Matsuzawa. Not only has he been perfect in extra point and field goals, but he has also been clutch. He has a game-winner as well as a long of 52 yards on the season.
I could go a couple of ways on this one, but as one of the only punters in the nation that ranks among the top in yards along with average goes to Ethan Pulliam. The Bulldogs haven’t had the season they wanted win wise, but Pulliam has certainly been one of the only positives.
I have gone back and forth over the past few weeks, but in my eyes Mendoza has not only been the best quarterback in the nation, but the best player overall. While he has only thrown for more than 2,600 yards, he has been a surgeon along with leading his Indiana team to an undefeated record (11-0, 8-0 Big Ten) and a No. 2 ranking in the CFP rankings.
On the season he is tied for first in the country in touchdown passes with 30 along with coming in at third in completion percentage with 73 percent. If he wins the Big Ten Championship then it is a no brainer.
