The Bearcats football team reportedly added a second wide receiver from the transfer portal to join Caleb Goodie. 247Sports's Matt Zenitz reported Texas A&M wide receiver Cyrus Allen is headed to Cincinnati.
The 6-foot, 178-pound junior had committed to Tulane this week but Cincinnati was able to flip him and get the deal done for his final year of eligibility. Allen caught 18 passes for 269 yards and one touchdown at A&M this past season after hailing in 46 passes for 778 yards and four TD's at Louisiana Tech in 2023.
He posted a 60.5 PFF grade in 2024 and a 67.6 PFF grade in 2023 with over 1,000 snaps in the past two seasons. Allen can vary between the slot and outside roles as Cincinnati and Brendan Sorsby work to get him the ball along with Joe Royer, Tony Johnson, Goodie, and more.
