Report: Louisville DL Ryheem Craig Enters Transfer Portal
USA TODAY Sports

This story will be updated.

Louisville defensive end Izaiah Reed has entered his name into the transfer portal, according to On3. It is unlikely that he will play in Louisville’s upcoming bowl.

Craig is the third defensive lineman to enter the portal, following fellow defensive ends Popeye Williams and Victoine Brown. He's the seventh Cardinal to transfer overall, with cornerback Marquis Groves-Killebrew, linebacker Jackson Hamilton, safety Josh Minkins and offensive lineman Izaiah Reed also going portaling.

This past Monday marked the first day of college football’s 30-day winter transfer portal window. Players have until Jan. 2, 2024 to enter the portal for their permitted one-time transfer under current NCAA guidelines.

Louisville will conclude their 2023 season later this month with a matchup against USC in the Holiday Bowl. Kickoff against the Trojans is set for Wednesday, Dec. 27 at 8:00 p.m. EST from Petco Park in San Diego, Calif.
