The 2024 College Football Playoff is just days away from kicking off, and with the new 12-team format in place, excitement for the upcoming games has hit an all-time high. Fans everywhere are attempting to fill out a perfect bracket for the 11 upcoming games, and it led to Ryen Russillo making his pick for this year's National Champion.
There's a lot of parity in college football this year. The Oregon Ducks have been the No. 1 team for much of the year, and while they are the favorite to win it all, they aren't exactly a resounding favorite. As a result, you can make a strong case for several of these teams to end up winning a National Championship.
Prior to the start of the 2024 campaign, Russillo picked Oregon to win it all, so now that the CFP is about to start, fans were wondering if he'd stick by his original pick. It turns out that's precisely what he's doing, as he revealed he's got the Ducks beating the Penn State Nittany Lions in the National Championship Game.
"Playoff brackets are in and I’m ready despite schedule imbalances! Oregon from August till ‘25," Russillo said in a post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Russillo believes a Big Ten Championship game rematch will take place in the final college football game of the season. And just like the first time these two teams met, he believes that the Ducks will come out on top and take home the first National Championship in their school's history.
It's not hard to see why Russillo and many other folks are picking Oregon to win it all. Led by Heisman finalist Dillon Gabriel, the Ducks have a high-flying offense that can score on any given play, while also featuring a defense that has played their best football in their biggest games of the season so far.
Anything can happen, though, and chances are Russillo's bracket will get busted at some point along the way. He seems pretty confident that Oregon will win it all, though, and time will tell whether or not that one main prediction of his ends up coming true.
