One of the Colorado Buffaloes' higher profile recruits is reportedly on his way out of Boulder.

According to On3.com's Pete Nakos , cornerback Nahmier Robinson (son of three-time NBA Slam Dunk champion Nate Robinson) plans to enter the transfer portal and look for greener pastures.

Robinson was a three-star recruit coming out of Skyline High School in Sammamish, WA where he played both sides of the ball and showcased some of the best ball skills in the 2023 class.

Fans reacted to the news of Robinson's decision on X.

"RED RAIDER," a user replied.

"Saw that coming a mile away," another said.

"Abandon your teammates before a bowl game for more money... what a guy!" a fan commented.

"Damn I swear I saw videos of Deion making sure he was straight and being there for him when something happened with his dad," another user pointed out.

"Best of luck to you!" another fan posted.

"probably hoping to come home and be closer to his dad. good luck kid."

Robinson's dad has been dealing with some serious health problems over the past year and is in need of a kidney donor.

Nate played 11 years in the Association as a fan favorite sixth man who brought the energy every night for every team he played on.

Standing at just 5-foot-9, few would believe he'd have the type of career he did. But he lived by the mantra "Heart Over Height," and made the most out of every ounce of athleticism he was given.

Best of luck to Nahmier wherever his career takes him next.
