The Texas Longhorns are undoubtedly one of the most talented and discussed programs in college football.
Ranking as the No. 1 team in the AP Poll, Coaches Poll and ESPN FPI rankings, expectations for Texas, although they saw 12 players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, are through the roof. Leading the charge for the new-look Longhorns is former five-star recruit, Arch Manning.
The New Orleans native is the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning, and unlike most top-ranked quarterbacks in this modern era, sat o n the bench for two years waiting his turn. While Manning is expected to be the answer that ends Texas' championship drought, which dates back to 2005, a recent visitor of the program left him stunned.
As shared on social media by Texas, the program welcomed magician Carl Michael to Austin recently. After pulling off card tricks that left the room puzzled, Michael then pulled off the best trick of them all with the assistance of a visibly confused Manning.

After asking Manning, another player and a coach to insert the number of their favorite athletes of all time into a calculator, Michael then asked another player what his jersey number was. After adding the first three numbers together and multiplying by the final number, Manning was left with a number.
Michael then asked someone else to look up how many fans Texas' DKR can hold, which came out to 100,119; the same number that Manning had on the calculator, which left him visibly shocked and even asking "bro what?"
Although this was a fun magic trick, Texas fans are likely hoping that nothing catches Manning by surprise this season.
A hope that will be tested immediately as he will be leading No. 1 Texas against the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes in Week 1. An Ohio State team that is fresh off a title, and a program that also brought in three-time Super Bowl-winning defensive coordinator Matt Patricia.
The game is set for Aug. 30 and will air on Fox's "Big Noon Kickoff."
