Texas Tech Transfer QB Tyler Shough Commits to Louisville

 After losing a few players to the transfer portal, the Louisville football program was finally able to benefit from the portal in the current recruiting cycle.

Former Texas Tech and Oregon quarterback Tyler Shough announced Tuesday that he has committed to play his final season of eligibility with the Cardinals.

Shough (pronounced "Shuck") has been the starting quarterback for the Red Raiders for the last three seasons, but was unable to play a full season during his time in Lubbock due to various injuries. He suffered a broken collarbone in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons, and a broken fibula this season.
