Halloween is right around the corner, which is fitting since this AI-generated portrait of Ohio State's mascot — Brutus the Buckeye — as if he were a human will give you the absolute creeps.

Seriously, this is a not-suited-for-work photo, and it will give you the willies. Do not show it to your children unless you want to risk Buckeye-related anxiety for the rest of their lives.

Artificial intelligence has brought many great ideas to life, and it's certain to change our lives for the better in the future. There is a scenario in which AI turns on its makers, though, and if that is ever the case, you can bet your bottom dollar that the human version of Brutus the Buckeye will be unleashed on all of us and that will lead to our certain doom as a species.

The real-life Brutus is a cross between Freddy Krueger and the serial killer, Edmund Kemper.

For the sake of the spirit of competition, let us all hope and pray that Ohio State never gains hold of this and uses the photo to scare its opponents into submission.
