Top Minnesota recruit lists Gophers among his final four

The Gophers are among Abu Tarawallie's top four college choices.

Tarawallie is the No. 2 recruit in Minnesota's 2025 class, according to recruiting website 247Sports.

The 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive lineman announced his top four teams in a social media post Friday morning. Along with the Gophers, Tarawallie has narrowed down his choices to Michigan State, Kansas State and Wisconsin.

The Osseo, MN native has also received offers from Oklahoma, Penn State, Kansas and Iowa State. Tarawallie missed the entire 2023 season for Heritage Christian Academy after tearing his meniscus.

PJ Fleck has already received commitments from Emmanuel Karmo and Cameron Begalle, the No. 1 and 6 recruits in Minnesota's 2025 class.
