The Texas Longhorns made a massive addition to its defensive end room this off-season adding UTSA transfer Trey Moore. The former roadrunner accounted for 14 sacks in 2023.
ESPN NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller went on X (formally Twitter) to talk about what he has been hearing about the veteran pass rusher.
The Longhorns could certainly use this kind of production ranking 57th overall in sacks per game last season. Moore will join a talented defensive end group with Colin Simmons, Ethan Burke, and Barryn Sorell. Burke led the Longhorns with 5.5 sacks last season.
Texas will show off its new and improved pass rush opening up the season on August 31st versus Colorado State at DKR Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN at 2:30 Central Time.
