UCLA football defensive end Laiatu Latu crushed his NFL Scouting Combine performance on Thursday. While completing his drills in Group 2 of Thursday's combine workouts, Latu was the talk of the group as he showed great technique and movement through the drills.
Here are the highlights of Latu's Combine workout.

Latu started by running a 4.64 40-yard dash on his first attempt. He followed it up with a 4.65 40-yard dash on his second attempt.

Latu later completed the body control drill.

Latu also excelled at the run-the-hoop drill.

Overall, it's not necessarily a surprise to see Latu do well at the combine, but more like confirmation of the kind of player and athlete he is.
During his final season at UCLA, Latu registered 13.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two interceptions for the Bruins defense. Latu was named a unanimous All-American at the conclusion of the season and won the Ted Hendricks Award, given to the best defensive end in college football.
Latu is projected to become a first-round draft pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. His performances at the combine should only continue to boost his stock.
