The 2025 college football season is only two weeks away from starting, and fans are really excited about it.
Week 0 will start with a few games on August 23 before the rest of the college football teams play the weekend of August 30, including the Auburn Tigers. The Tigers will play the Baylor Bears on August 29 in an SEC-Big 12 clash.
Speaking of the Tigers, SEC Network's Chris Doering has two Tigers wide receivers featured in his top five among all SEC wideouts. He has Eric Singleton Jr. in the four spot and Cam Coleman in the two spot.
"Eric Singleton Jr comes over from Georgia Tech. He was a get-it-to-guy in that offense as well last year for Georgia Tech. They threw it to him down the field, he can catch the ball short, they got it on the end-around game, even the little orbit motion, so you can be creative with how you use him, but he's also probably the fastest receiver in the conference, maybe the country this year," Doering said on SEC Network regarding Singleton Jr.
"Cam Coleman starts his second season. I did his spring game a couple of years ago; he is an absolute beast. You look at a guy that is carved to be a wide receiver. Kind of a slow start last year compared to another guy playing football in the state of Alabama, but figured things out late in the year. You feel like he has created some momentum. I think having Eric Singleton Jr. is going to benefit him big time this season as well," Doering said about Coleman.
Coleman finished the 2024 season with 37 receptions for 598 yards and eight touchdowns. Singleton Jr. finished last year with 56 receptions for 754 yards and three touchdowns.
These two might become quite the dynamic duo for the Tigers this year.
