Utah Star Spencer Fano Reacts to Keanu Tanuvasa Transferring to BYU

One of Utah's best defensive players, Keanu Tanuvasa, has officially transferred to bitter rivals BYU, and his teammate, Spencer Fano, channeled his inner Obi-Wan Kenobi when reacting to the news.

Fano, who quoted the news, simply posted a picture of Obi-Wan Kenobi during his battle with Anakin Skywalker, perfectly depicting how the Utah faithful felt about the move.

Anakin, who turned to the dark side after being the chosen one, is much like Tanuvasa who, after spending the entire transfer portal calling out players such as Cam Calhoun for leaving and being an outspoken advocate for the Utes, left for the program's arch-rival.

Ever since "Nu" entered the portal, Fano has been doing his best to try and convince the defensive tackle to return to the program, and it seemed as if Tanuvasa was torn between the two programs before ultimately picking the Cougars.

While this move comes at a big loss to the Utes' defensive unit, it is still a positive sign that the program has retained such outspoken and loyal leaders as the Fano brothers. With the history of development, the Utah defensive staff has, the future of the D-line is in good hands and the rivalry flames have been stoked even more.
