On Tuesday, prior to early signing day, the Utah Utes made an impressive addition via the transfer portal.
Idaho running back Anthony Woods took to the app formerly known as Twitter to announce that he will be transferring to Utah.
In his two seasons at Idaho, Woods accumulated 361 rushes for 2,003 yards, and 19 rushing touchdowns. This past season was his more productive of the two, as he rushed for 1,131 yards an impressive 16 scores.
The addition is one that is vital for Utah who had major issues at the running back position, having to turn to safety Sione Vaki to tote the rock. There are also rumors heating up about one running back departing the program once the season ends, meaning Woods will have a prime opportunity to be a contributor.
The Utes had the No. 37 transfer portal class in the country prior to Woods' addition.
