Watch: Curt Cignetti narrates trailer for EA’s College Football 27

On Thursday night, EA revealed the highly-anticipated trailer for the upcoming video game, College Football 27. The reveal trailer quickly went viral, partially due to its narrator.

Indiana Hoosiers head coach Curt Cignetti, on top of gracing the cover of the deluxe version, was the narrator of the full reveal trailer for the game.

The trailer included live footage of Cignetti alongside a plethora of gameplay footage. It includes Cignetti narrating a letter he’s writing to the viewer, offering a spot on his roster.

“Some players who walk through that tunnel, onto that field, grew up dreaming about putting on this uniform. They’ve rooted for this team their whole life and want to be a part of something bigger than themselves,” Cignetti writes to you. “Some have another dream: the money, the deals, the cars, those shiny teeth. That’s college football now—I get it. Everybody’s gotta make a name for themselves. Truth is, I don’t care why you show up. I care what happens after you do.”

After the epic monologue came a sequence of cinematic gameplay shots, featuring elite teams and players from all over the country.

College Football 27 is the third installment of EA’s revamped CFB series. It was originally known as NCAA Football and was a beloved series until 2013, when it was discontinued.

Upon its return under a new name, both CFB 25 and CFB 26 were major hits that garnered huge sales.

With a slew of new features and gameplay updates to go along with a fantastic reveal trailer, fans are feeling better than ever about this year’s game.
