Watch: Pat McAfee attempts backflip into Tennessee River on 'College GameDay'

ESPN's "College GameDay" was in Knoxville on Saturday morning in advance of the huge Top 10 SEC showdown between Tennessee and Alabama.

Pat McAfee, this year's newest addition to the weekly pregame show, used that as an opportunity to take a swim when he did a backflip (which turned into a belly flop) off a boat into the Tennessee River.

This is not the first time McAfee has jumped into a river on the show.

During his first appearance on "GameDay," he jumped into the Brazos River in Waco, Texas, before an Oklahoma-Baylor game.

The trend seems to be falling into place — if "GameDay" is near a river or larger body of water, then Pat McAfee is probably going to jump into it.
