Kadyn Proctor was expected to start in Alabama’s first win of the season against Western Kentucky Saturday before injuring his shoulder during warm ups.
His injury is not expected to keep him out long term, but Alabama’s head coach Kalen DeBoer is unsure when the former five-star will return.
“He’s pretty much living in the training room,” DeBoer said during the SEC Coaches teleconference on Wednesday. “He’s got strong aspirations to get on the field as fast as possible. “So, I can’t say one way or the other kind of where that would be as of right now with still three days left before we play.”
Proctor started at left tackle as a true freshman for the Crimson Tide on last season.
