Rajat Patidar totally destroyed the GT bowlers as the defending champions scored an imposing 254 on the board. In reply none of the Gujarat batters barring Rahul Tewatia was able to put up a fight. Gill’s side can be dangerous when they are nursing a wound and they will be ready for a fightback. 

Rajasthan Royals are coming into this game after their win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the eliminator game on Wednesday. RR scored 243 thanks to 29-ball 97 by boy wonder Vaibhav Sooryavanshi with Dhruv Jurel scoring a fifty. Jofra Archer then bulldozed the SRH top order to continue is prime form with the ball. Men in Pink played their best cricket of the IPL 2026 to set-up this clash and perhaps look to avenge the loss from four years ago.
