Gujarat Titans marched into the final of the IPL 2026 following a dominant seven-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 at New Chandigarh. Needing 215 to win, GT successfully completed the chase in just 18.4 overs.

Gujarat will now play Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the grand final at Ahmedabad. Skipper Shubman Gill was at his absolute best with a magnificent century, while Sai Sudharsan gave him the support from the other end with a scintillating innings.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi had played an incredible inning, but the firepower in Gujarat's batting line-up was more than enough on the night.

Opting to bat first, Rajasthan Royals managed 214/6. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was the hero of RR's batting innings with a breath-taking 96 off 47 balls, clobbering eight boundaries and as many as seven maximums.

Ravindra Jadeja anchored the innings at one end with his 45 not out, while Donovan Ferreira added a late blitz to take them beyond the 200 mark with his late flurry of 38 off just 11 balls. Gujarat's bowlers seemed to have no answer at times, although Kagiso Rabada and Jason Holder managed two wickets each.

In reply, Gujarat Titans were off to a blazing start. Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill tore apart the RR bowling attack and amassed a partnership of 167 runs for the first wicket.

Sudharsan brought up his 58 off 32 deliveries before falling hit-wicket while Gill continued to torment the RR bowlers and scored a breathtaking 104 off 53 deliveries. Late cameos by Rahul Tewatia and Washington Sundar ensured no nerves and Gujarat took home the win with 8 balls in hand.
