It was a day to forget for the Indian players in the field. The fielding lacked commitment, and Ravindra Jadeja conceded extra runs. The turning point was the dropped catch of Markram by Yashasvi Jaiswal. It happened on the second ball of the 18th over, bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. Markram was on 53 runs at the moment and went on to add another 57 runs.
Aiden Markram was named the Player of the Match for scoring 110 runs, laced with 10 fours and 4 sixes.
South Africa have levelled the series 1-1, with one match left in Visakhapatnam on December 6.
