India captain Suryakumar Yadav has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Pakistan in the Super Four Match 2 of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
“We will bowl first, and it’s a nice track. We saw a lot of dew yesterday (Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh), so we would love to chase. We have been playing every game like a knockout contest, and this is another match for us. Players are normal, and I have told the boys to control their emotions and play their natural game. Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy return for the match,” Suryakumar Yadav said.
Pakistan skipper Salman Agha would have bowled first as well. “We wanted to bowl first as well. It is a new game and a new challenge. We want to play good cricket. The pitch is on the slower side. We will have to perform well with the bat and ball,” Salman Agha said.
