IPL 2026: Actress Shares Personal Messages With Yuzvendra Chahal, Sparks Buzz

According to IMDb, Taniya Chatterjee has worked in several OTT web series like Jaal, Dil Do, Watchman, and Flatmates. The Kolkata-based actress has also appeared in music videos such as Soneya, Ye Zindagi, and Qayamat. She has more than 2 million followers on Instagram.

On the personal side, Yuzvendra Chahal divorced his wife Dhanashree Verma in a Mumbai family court last year. After that, he was linked with RJ Mahvash and sports presenter Shefali Bagga, but none of them confirmed these dating rumours.

Yuzvendra Chahal’s comment on an Instagram post went viral on social media earlier this year. This happened when the Haryana-born cricketer said he is ready to get married again, just a few months after his divorce from Dhanashree Verma. He wrote (via The Times of India):

“Shadi k lie ready hoon bas ladki chahiye (I am ready for marriage, only need a girl).”

After his separation from Dhanashree Verma, Yuzvendra Chahal shared that he went through a very tough time and even had suicidal thoughts after being accused of cheating. Speaking on a podcast with Raj Shamani in 2025, he said (via News18):

“After my divorce, I was called a cheater. And I have never cheated in my life. I’m an extremely loyal person. You wouldn’t even find a loyal person like me. I deeply care about my people. (On people’s opinion) That’s what affects me, that you guys don’t even know what has happened, and yet you are blaming me.”

On the professional side, Yuzvendra Chahal is the highest wicket-taker in IPL history. Punjab Kings retained him for a huge ₹18 crore last year. The 35-year-old has taken three wickets in three matches so far this season.

Apart from the IPL, he has played 72 ODIs and 80 T20Is for India national cricket team. He will next be seen in action when Punjab Kings take on Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, April 16.
