The Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women celebrated their second Women’s Premier League title with an exhilarating six-wicket win over the Delhi Capitals Women in the WPL 2026 Final held at the BCA Stadium in Kotambi, Vadodara.

After winning the toss and batting first, DC Women set a formidable target of 203/4 in their 20 overs, putting RCB in a tough spot. But RCB Women showcased their poise and determination, successfully chasing down the target with a score of 204/4 in just 19.4 overs. This high-scoring final had fans on the edge of their seats and once again demonstrated RCB Women’s remarkable strength, depth, and ability to perform under pressure on such a grand stage.

Another Final, Same Heartbreak for Delhi

As the RCB camp erupted in celebration, it was yet another tough night for Delhi, who found themselves as runners-up for the fourth consecutive time.

Batting first, the DC Women set a formidable target of 203, a score that typically secures victory in finals. However, RCB’s response told a different tale. After losing Grace Harris early on, Smriti Mandhana and Voll formed a pivotal partnership that swung the momentum decisively in Bengaluru’s direction.

Their smooth stroke play and relentless boundary-hitting kept Delhi on the back foot. RCB managed to hit at least one boundary in every over, maintaining constant pressure throughout their chase. A glimmer of hope appeared when Voll was dismissed, followed closely by Richa Ghosh, but Delhi couldn’t take advantage of the situation.

A crucial dropped catch by Minnu Mani proved to be a turning point, allowing Radha Yadav a vital second chance. Radha capitalized on this opportunity, smashing two boundaries in the final over and leading RCB to victory.
